Blake Octavian Blair noticed his psychic and empathic gifts at a young age and they have continued to grow ever since.
Blake endeavors to use his gifts and abilities to help others. He uses his gift of clairvoyance when called upon to communicate with the spirit world. He is also a talented tarot reader, offering insight and guidance through this medium.
Also a healing facilitator, Blake is a Reiki Master-Teacher and uses Reiki, Shamanic, and other energy healing techniques to assist clients along their personal healing journeys. He also teaches classes in Traditional Usui Reiki.
In 2011 Blake was ordained as a priest by Rev. Dan Chesbro into the Order of Melchizedek, a non- denominational, non-discriminating, interfaith order dedicated to teaching and healing. The celebration of spiritual and religious diversity by this order as well its goals of teaching and healing made ordination into the Order of Melchizedek a perfect fit for Blake. As a legally ordained minister in all fifty states, Blake is pleased to be able to serve where the services of clergy are needed.
Blake holds a degree in English/Cultural Studies and Religion from the University of Florida. He has been a pagan practitioner for the past decade, and has come to follow an eclectic path with an emphasis on IndoPaganism, blending elements of Eastern spiritual traditions such as Hinduism and Buddhism with Western traditions of ceremonial magick, witchcraft, and NeoPaganism.
Blake is a devotee of Lord Ganesha, the joyous and beloved elephant headed god of Hindu culture. However, he also enjoys relationships with Celtic and Afro-Caribbean deities, and those of other cultures within his diverse practice.
Blake is a practicing vegetarian, published author, avid reader, and crafter. He beads jewelry, makes ritual incense, enjoys wreath making, and enjoys knitting. He currently resides in Carrboro, NC with his loving husband, an aquarium full of fish, and an indoor jungle of houseplants.
